Summary:
The "Drawings by Jasper Johns" exhibit was on display in 1966 in the National Collection of Fine Arts, then located in the National Museum of Natural History Building. The National Collection of Fine Arts was renamed the Smithsonian American Art Museum in 2000 (from 1980-2000 it was named the National Museum of American Art), located in the former US Patent Office Building.
