Summary:
The National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution is incorporated and its purposes, property limits and headquarters are established. The society shall report annually to the Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution concerning its proceedings. The Regents of the Smithsonian Institution are authorized to permit the society to deposit its collections, manuscripts, books, pamphlets, and other material for history in the Smithsonian Institution or in the United States National Museum.
Termination of reporting requirements was effective May 15, 2000, of provisions of law requiring submittal to Congress of any annual, semiannual, or other regular periodic report listed in House Document No. 103-7 (in which a report required under this section is listed on page 192), see section 3003 of Pub. L. 104-66, as amended, set out as a note under section 1113 of Title 31, Money and Finance.
