Summary:
Frederick J. Dockstader becomes the Director of the Museum of the American Indian, Heye Foundation in New York City. He was the Assistant Director of the Museum from 1955 to 1960. Dockstader is director of the Museum until 1975 when he is forced to resign after a New York State investigation into charges of mismanagement of the Museum.
