Summary:
Curator Doug Owsley (left) and an archaeological dig team member examine a bone fragment unearthed at the Antietam battlefield. The National Museum of Natural History's Anthropology Department's Doug Owsley coordinated the dig with the National Park Service at the previously undiscovered Civil War battle site. Printed in the "Torch," October 1988.
