Summary:
The Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute receives a three-year grant for $75,000 from Citibank Corporation for support of a training program at the new Mpala Research Center in Kenya, Africa, which was established on February 24, 1992 .
The program is a joint project of Princeton University, the Smithsonian, Kenya Wildlife Service, Mpala Wildlife Foundation, and the National Museums of Kenya that provides an interdisciplinary research and training program in ecology, evolution, geology, and resource management at the Mpala Ranch in Kenya.
