Summary:
Image of the Air Force trucks used for traveling by Smithsonian Secretary Alexander Wetmore during an ornithological field trip to Panama. The trucks are parked at Río Salud, Colón, Panama. There are U.S. Air Force soliders standing around the truck to the right and a group of Panamanian children are standing to the side of the same truck. A village can be seen through the trees in the background. The image was taken by Wetmore on March 12, 1952.
