Summary:
Houses in the village of Chico, Panama. Some villagers, including women and children, are standing in the center of the image. The U.S. Army Air Force jeep loaned to ornithologist and sixth Smithsonian Secretary Alexander Wetmore can be seen on the right in the shadow of a tree. A thatched roof hut on stilts is on the left.
