Cap Cod "a place of good fishing; for we saw daily great whales of the best kind for oil and bone come close to or ship, anmd in fair weather swim and play about us;...." (p. 36 [sic]). This relates to the first visit of the Puritans to Massachusetts Bay in 1620.
