P. gangetica var. minor p. 448-449. Mackintosh and Wheeler (1929:447) said that Owen had said that whales did not fuse their vertebrae (based on study of the specimens then available). Mead has table contents, pp. 439-458 (Cetacea), 459-470 (Sirenia).
