(The names of the Brownsville men who died during the war are inscribed on two panels on front of the stele.)

Summary:
A large stele in the center of which is a relief panel depicting Winged Victory as she walks across mountain tops. She holds a sword up over her head with her proper right hand and a shield out behind her with her proper left hand. The side panels of the stele are inscribed with the names of Jewish-American war veterans. The stele is installed at the top of two sets of low steps. At the top of the second set of steps there is a medallion of a jewish star on the left and a medallion of an eagle on the right.
