Summary:
Three-sided metal mesh sculpture illuminated at night with eighteen lights that slowly progress through the color spectrum. According to the artist, each corner of the sculpture points in a direction that honors presidents --one corner points north in memory of Abraham Lincoln, one corner points southwest toward George Washington University, and the third corner points southeast toward the White House. The sculpture is installed in the center of a fountain basin in the middle of James Monroe Park, a triangle park bounded by Pennsylvania Avenue, 20th Street, and I Street.
