Summary:
Farm Family Portrait is a group of five carved granite threshing stools arranged as though absent sitters of three generations are posing in their Sunday best for a traditional family picture. Each threshing stool is sculpted in granite to resemble a shock of wheat, and each threshing stool has a cast iron seat bolted to its top. The threshing stools are of various heights and each cast iron seat is unique. The sculpture is installed on a four inch think granite platform.
