Summary:
According to the Greek myth, where Pegasus' hoof struck the ground, a well sprang forth, and in this plaza installation, an existing natural mineral spring 1,600 feet below the Magnolia Building was tapped into at this urban park to physically recreate the myth of Pegasus. The muses that gather around the well are symbolized by relief images scattered across the plaza foor. In addition, the plaza features limestone paving, granite boulders, and a huge quartz crystal.
