Summary:
Sunny scene depicting a group of laborers putting the finishing touches on a stone bridge spanning the Jucar River, which is lined with low stone walls of either side, and a small walkway on the left side. In the foreground, a woman kneels along the walkway as she does her laundry in the shallow water at the river's edge. In the distance the pastel pink and yellow buildings of Cuenca are visible on a sunny hilltop overlooking the Jucar River.
