Summary:
Portrait of Katharine Minor Wilkins seated with her body turned slightly to the right, her head turned to the left, and her gaze directed off to the left. She wears an Empire-waist dress wtih a square neckline and puffed sleeves, and loosely draped over her arms is a light-colored shawl. Her dark hair is swept up in a knot at the back of her head, and small ringlets fall around her face.
