Summary:
Interior scene depicting a young woman dressed in black, her body turned to the right, her solemn gaze directed down toward a table of flowers, and her left hand holding up a stem of orange poppies as she creates an arrangement of poppies and white Queen Anne's lace in a large brown ceramic vessel. Behind her there is a window with a sheer white curtain, and at her feet is a large metal bucket of poppies, Queen Anne's lace, and wild flowers.
