Summary:
Portrait of Mrs. JuliusCaesar Bonaparte Mitchell seated with her body turned slightly to the right, her gaze directed toward the viewer, and her right arm raised as she places a glove on her right hand. Her other glove and her hat rest on a table to the right. She wears a burgundy velvet off-the-shoulder dress adorned with lace trim around the neckline and cuffs. Her long brown hair is parted in the middle and falls in long ringlets over her shoulders.
