Full-length standing portrait of a woman holding a small book in her left hand and resting her right hand on a kneeling bench with red cusion, and a candle, book, and picture on the top shelf. This portrait, painted after the sitter's death, is meant to depict her in heaven, watched over by the children of the artist's family whom she had taught.
