Summary:
Full-length standing portrait of a woman holding a small book in her left hand and resting her right hand on a kneeling bench with red cusion, and a candle, book, and picture on the top shelf. She wears a yellow dress and is surrounded by clouds and the heads of five angel-children. This portrait, painted after the sitter's death, is meant to depict her in heaven, watched over by the children of the artist's family whom she had taught.
