Summary:
Mountain landscape depicting a group of Native Americans attempting to cross a rushing river by walking across a fallen tree that rests between two steep rocky cliffs. Some figures stand along the cliffs on each side of the river, and a larger group stands below with their canoes resting along the river's edge. In the background water cascades down a narrow waterfall, and in the far distance jagged peaks are visible.
