Summary:
The memorial consists of three bronze sculptures, each depicting a police officer honoring his fellow officers killed in the line of duty. One sculpture shows a small girl standing behind a kneeling police officer, his head lowered and resting against his left hand. Another sculpture shows a police officer holding a folded U.S. flag. The third sculpture shows a police officer saluting across President Street toward police headquarters. Each sculpture is installed on its own marble base.
