Summary:
Fall landscape of a forest of beech trees with a slightly rutted dirt road and a stream running through the middle. The stream runs from the background on the right into the center foreground. The sides of the stream are lined with rocks, and the stream flows over a low pile of rocks creating a small waterfall. The ground on banks of the stream has eroded revealing the roots of nearby trees. The road follows along the left side of the stream in the center foreground, but veers off as it leads back toward a white house in the background. There is a tree stump in the left foreground beside the road. Fallen leaves cover the ground and are scattered across the road.
