Summary:
Double portrait of the artist's father and mother, Jonathan Trumbull (1710-1785) and Faith Robinson Trumbull (1718-1780). The two portraits are in decorative oval spaces embellished with ornamental scrolls and at the bottom, two tiny allegorical figures flanking a cupid.
