An abstract depiction of a Vietnam soldier holding a broken K-Bar knife in his proper right hand and a crown of stars in his proper left hand. He stands atop a keystone that features the inscription "with it or on it," symbolic of the return of Pennsylvania's soldiers. The crown of stars in his proper left hand symbolizes the branches of the Armed Services. Behind the soldier stands a three-dimensional map of Vietnam pierced with "pungee" sticks, a guerilla warfare weapon used in Southeast Asia.
