Summary:
A rounded, rough-cut marker with a bronze relief plaque depicting a Civil War battle scene. Major General George H. Thomas is seen in left profile, in uniform including a wide-brimmed hat. Soldiers on either side of him, fire at one another over a log fence in the center. On the rear of the marker is a circular State of Ohio seal. The marker is mounted upon a rough-cut, block base.
