Summary:
Memorial installation consisting of a full-length bronze portrait of Lyndon Baines Johnson. He wears a suit and tie. He holds a closed book in his proper left hand; his proper right hand is extended slightly forward as if gesturing. The sculpture stands on a granite and marble pedestal base. Directly in front of the sculpture is a low red granite and white marble memorial wall. At each end of the wall is a bronze golden eagle, facing the center of the memorial with wings outspread. In the center of the wall on the slightly sloping top surface, is a raised Presidential Seal in bas-relief. Six flagpoles stand in a semi-circle at the back of the installation.
