Summary:
A memorial to Nancy Hanks Lincoln, mother of President Abraham Lincoln, consisting of a block of rough-hewn granite containing an open scroll on the front bearing an inscription. The block is mounted on two supports at either end that are set upon a wider slab of granite with rough-hewn sides.
