Summary:
A life-size gray wooden rowboat is set diagonally across a low rectangular concrete base. The top surface of the base is sculpted in bas-relief to imitate churning water. An oar can be seen on the water, floating away. There is a bird perched on the front end of the boat. A piece of fabric or clothing is draped over the side of the boat near the back.
