A full-length standing figure of astronaut Edward Higgins White II, seen wearing an astronaut's suit, holding the helmet with his proper right hand. He walks with his proper left foot forward, the palm of his proper left hand turned upward. The sculpture has a short bronze base and is mounted upon a short, circular, polished granite base with paneled sides.
