Summary:
An eagle with outstretched wings is perched atop a tapered pedestal. The pedestal stands on a tall square base, flanked by two shorter bases. The two plaques bear the Seal of the American Legion. The dedication plaque on the front contains the emblems of the branches of the armed forces.
