Summary:
Full-length figure of a soldier at parade rest. He wears a Richmond Light Infantry Blues uniform with shako hat and feather plume. In his proper right hand he holds a rifle; the butt of the gun rests on the ground beside his proper right leg. His proper left arm is bent and rests behind his back. The bronze sculpture stands on a oval granite base.
