Summary:
The sculpture is one of five by the artist located in the Garden of Gethsemane in Felix Lucero Park. (For other sculptures see: IAS AZ000595, AZ000596, AZ000597, AZ000599). Christ before Pontius Pilate depicts a castle-like shrine containing a miniature set staging a legion of Roman soldiers bringing Christ before Pontius Pilate. The sculpture is protected by a thick plate of security glass and a wrought iron gate barring the public from reaching inward.
