Summary:
The sculpture is one of five by the artist located in the Garden of Gethsemane in Felix Lucero Park. (For other sculptures see: IAS AZ000596, AZ000597, AZ000598, AZ000599). The Last Supper depicts the last supper of Jesus Christ with the twelve disciples. The twelve men are on three sides of a rectangular table. Jesus is at the center of the disciples. His hands rest on the table and are supported by armatures. Each hand contains broken bread representing the body of Christ. On Jesus' proper left and opposite stands Judas with one knee on a bench and a money bag in his proper left hand. Judas is the only unseated figure. The sculpture is situated on a low base equal in size to the length and width of the sculpture.
