Full-length male and female figures flank a plain rectangular marker. Both wear Classical garments and sandals. The woman stands on the left end. She holds a bouquet of roses in her proper hand. Her proper left hand rests on the marker and grasps a single rose. The man stands on the right and holds a scroll and compass in his proper left hand. His proper right hand rests on the marker and it holds an oak leaf cluster. There is an interlocked two-wreath and ribbon relief on the front of the marker. There are also four reliefs depicting allegorical figures on the marker, two on the front and two on the back. On the front is Courage, depicting a squatting man holding a snake; and Diligence, a seated woman pulling a string. On the back is Judgement, a seated man holding his head in his proper left hand. Love is seen as a seated woman holding a child in her lap.
