Summary:
A bronze sculpture of an eagle sitting on an orb with its wings semi-extended. Its head is turned to the proper right and its beak is open. The sculpture rests atop an arched gateway made of granite. On either column of the arch is a plaque with text. There are metal gates in the arch. The columns of the arch are rough-hewn; the arch itself is smooth.
