Summary:
Decorative tiles on the exterior of the Physical Plant building depict motifs of Colorado flora and fauna and Art Nouveau. Terra cotta designs are incorporated in the walls, gables, window sills, door frames and around chimney stacks. Other elements include a sundial, a rooster frieze and lilies. The tiles have a matte glaze and terra cotta fixtures are in shades of turquoise, red, and yellow.
