Summary:
A portrait of a soldier, possibly Robert E. Lee, placed atop a canopied structure, with drinking fountain in center. The solider is dressed in uniform, and holds a wide-brimmed hat at his side in his proper right hand, and the hilt of a sword (blade missing) in his proper left hand. He has a beard. The figure is placed atop an open structure, with cannon balls at each of the four top corners and supported by four pillars. The entire monument is surrounded by a low, ornamental iron fence and encircled by a concrete walkway.
