Summary:
A Pony Express rider on a galloping horse. The rider holds the reins with his proper left hand and whips the horse with the whip in his proper right hand. The rider wears a cowboy hat, and has a gun in a holster at his hip. The horse is in mid-gallop with both front legs lifted from the ground. There are native plants at its feet. The sculpture is mounted on a rectangular tiered base that is enclosed by a fence.
