Summary:
A hunter, who is holding a glass in his proper right hand, sits at a draped table and looks back to a servant girl who stands behind him carrying a tray with pitcher. Among the obects on the table are a gun, horn, and jug. In the foreground, the focus of the painting, a dog sits in front of the table and another, smaller dog stands beneath a chair. On the floor, at the first dog's feet, are several dead animals: a rabbit, and four birds.
