Summary:
Eagle tops totem pole, followed by other symbols of the Eagle clan, the Beaver and the Bullhead. Representatives of the Raven clan include the Raven, Bear, Blackfish and Hootowl, who appears at the base of the pole. Copper shields below the Bear's feet represent currency. The human figure above the Hootowl is the Master Carpenter who taught the Haida woodcarving.
