Summary:
Sculpture is composed of 300 interlocking tubes fastened in a diagonal configuration. The work is wrapped around the exterior of the building's auditorium and continues into the lobby. According to the artist's statement, the cuts and tears which appear in some of the tubes suggest the "stratification of geological formations," and also serve "as a metaphor of freedom and for breaking of bonds."
