Summary:
Major General Ulysses S. Grant sits mounted in military uniform on his horse. He wears a broad-rimmed hat and a knee-length buttoned coat. His proper left hand is raised and holding the reins, and a sword hangs by his proper left side. The statue is mounted on top of engraved, two-sectioned base with inscribed plaques. Accompanying the statue are two sets of seats.
