Summary:
A figure of a Confederate soldier, dressed in a military uniform that includes a hat, boots, and shoulder bag hanging from his proper left shoulder, stands at parade rest holding the barrel of a musket with both hands. The figure is placed atop a multitiered base that is decorated on its front upper part with a relief of crossed flags and rifles. One of the sides of the midsection of the base is decorated with laurel branches and crossed swords. The base is surrounded by low chained fence.
