Summary:
David B. Henderson, Congressman and Speaker of the House of Representatives, stands wearing trousers and a knee-length, lapelled coat. He has short hair and moustache, and his proper right hand is raised and holding a gavel, while his proper left arm is supported by a crutch. The statue is mounted upon a short, square, two-tiered base and stands in front of a large dedication plaque for the library which is named after him.
