Summary:
The Virgin Mary kneels and hold the lifeless body of Christ after his crucifixion. She wears a hooded cape and lifts Jesus's proper left arm with her proper left hand. Her proper right hand supports Jesus' shoulder. Jesus wears only a loincloth. The sculpture has a self-base and is mounted on a multitiered base.
