Summary:
Half-length portrait of St. Thomas Aquinas, sitting on a desk. He holds a writing instrument in his proper right hand and turns his head to the right of the composition where the dove of the Holy Spirit appears providing him with divine inspiration. He wears the habit of the Dominican Order with a sun emblem on his chest.
