Summary:
Standing full-length figure of Ulysses S. Grant in uniform. His jacket has epaulets and his hands are clutching his lapels. His vest is buttoned at the waist. His sword, with a tassel attached to the handle, is attached to leather straps on the bottom back of his jacket, over the rear of his proper left leg. The figure is atop a granite base with a laurel relief with a bow in the front center.
