Summary:
Two full figures joined in dynamic juxtaposition, unified by an arc of shroud or drape held by Diana. Diana's nude body is fully extended and both her hands hold the cloth above her head. Her head is turned to the proper right and she gazes down on the sleeping figure of Endymion. He rest on a tree stump with a cloth draped around him and his head turned to the proper left. His proper left arm is bent and supports his head. His proper right arm is bent and rests on his proper left leg.
