Summary:
A concrete sculpture with a shell fountain basin which sits on a square base. At one time a small fountain at the base sprayed water into the shell. Above the shell is the sleeping Lindbergh baby wearing a long-sleeved jacket and holding a rose in his proper left hand. The child's proper left leg is bent at the knee and tucked under his proper right leg which is straight. Atop the monument is an eagle in flight. An irregularly shaped column serves as the background and extends up from behind the basin to the top of the eagle.
