Summary:
In the central entablature above the entrance door, a relief panel depicting nine classically-draped figures. In the center, a seated female figure administers the law, with both hands reaching out to those on either side of her. Four seated and standing figures are on either side of her. On each end the building, on the same level as the relief panel, are single female figures, seated and also dressed in classical clothing. The figure on the proper left holds a sword in her proper left hand. The pilaster below her is inscribed with the words "Justitia/Et Lex." The figure on the proper right holds a fasces in her proper right hand. The pilaster below her is inscribed "Humanitas/Et Jus."
