Summary:
Interior with the artist's wife seated looking at two young girls (probably the artist's daughters Alice Dieudonnee Chase (age 5) and Koto Robertine Chase (3) shown playing on the floor with a fold-out book. The girls are wearing white and pink while the wife wears a black dress. A plant is on a stand at right and paintings hang along the wall. A large dark armoire, on which is a vase of flowers, is on the back wall.
